Course of Study
The Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) course students need to go through various subjects of Health sciences such as Nutrition, Human body hygiene, Primary health care, Community health nursing, First Aid, Midwifery, Child health nursing etc.
Students enrolled to ANM courses will be evaluated by marks obtained in the class test, sessional examination, pre final examination followed by council's final examination. 75% attendance is compulsory to enroll in the council final examination along with 100% attendance in the clinical practice.
A student pursuing the ANM course can appear in the final examination either in English or Assamese.
As per the guidelines issued by INC, students after completion of 10+2 from any recognized board can enroll in the ANM course. Maximum age for the admission is of 30 years.
ACADEMIC SESSION

Academic Session starts from the month of October every year.

PRACTICAL

Practice realistic skilled knowledge is important for every candidate pursuing this course. So students are not keep limited only in the college laboratory but also given practical exposure in various private and government health care institution, PHCs, Sub centres, Dispensaries and in community area around Jorhat & Golaghat district.
