Assam Pharmacy institute also known as API is started in the year 2020 and is approved by Pharmacy council of India (PCI), New Delhi and is duly affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, Assam.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.pharm)
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a 2 year undergraduate diploma course in the field of pharmacy which is approved and recognized by Pharmacy council of India(PCI). The program includes both practical and theoretical training and 6 months training at the hospital pharmacy after the completion of the 2 years course. It covers various subjects like pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy,etc. This program offers various carreer opportunities to the students such as pharmacy technicians, laboratory assistants, community pharmacists, and hospital pharmacists.
